I am a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone with over seven years of combined experience in legal practice, research, and advocacy. I have strong expertise in legal drafting, statutory interpretation, and reform-oriented research, supported by work with Jengo, Sam & Partners and Prison Watch Sierra Leone . I also lead Lanbuk.com, an educational platform that promotes legal research and civic education. Trained under the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) in Ghana , I bring proven skills in legal analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy development. I am committed to contributing my research-driven approach and advocacy experience to advance the Law Reform Commission's mission of modernising Sierra Leone's laws.
I regard myself as a hardworking person with a keen eye for detail. As a Legal and Human Rights advocate with an ambassador for women status with United Nations Women -SL and the communication coordinator for a UN Women sub-group in Sierra Leone for youth empowerment and advocacy -(SYEAN); I am adept at gathering and organizing specifically requested data, conducting legal research, drafting and filing of legal documents, human and environmental advocacy with advanced computer and problem-solving skills. With more than three years of active legal practice and four years of volunteering experience in different capacities within different NGOs, I have equipped myself with in-depth knowledge of administrative procedures and solid external and internal communication skills.
